Wow!!! It's been ages since I last updated this thing...where has time flown??? In any case A LOT has happened since I last updated. I'm finally in a "stable" relationship that makes me SUPER happy. My fiance's name is Kyle Martin Yochum. He is a 2004 graduate of Aiea High School, who also played both quarterback & slotback for Aiea back in the day. It was during his senior year that Aiea won the OIA football championship.
and for those of you who are curious, yes, we ARE planning on eventually getting married, though we're not sure exactly when yet. It might be by the end of this year, or not...we haven't set an exact date yet...but I'll keep everyone posted lol 
In other news, I also, on Mother's Day 2007 (May 13, 2007), finally graduated (after 6 LONG years of going to school) with my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts (AA) and also an Academic Subject Certificate (ASC) in Visual Arts from Maui Community College. It was a LONG haul, but at least I can say that I finally did it...lol
*whew* What a relief!!! Anyways, I guess that's all I can think of for now & so I'll just end it here...

hey everyone!
i hope that you all are doin' great. thought i'd finally do another xanga update.
let's see...it's now about 1:35 a.m. here in Hawaii (for those of you who live outside Hawaii, or for my friends who are on the mainland either going to school or whatever), and yes, i'm still up. i know, i know, you all are thinkin', "Lauren must be nuts!", mind you i do have to get up maybe around 7:30 or 8 a.m. to eat breakfast, make my grandpa his coffee and cook his rice, and do a few additional stuff all before i have to get going to work at 12 noon. then after i get off work at 3 p.m. i have about an hour or so to kill before i have to get my butt across the street for my 4:30 p.m. Biology 100 class that runs until 5:45 p.m.
other than that, my home life is frustrating me more than anything else right now. my mom is pissing me off to no avail. i swear, she's always jumpin' on my ass for something or other. i'm about ready to say "the hell with maui" or even hawaii for that matter. i seriously want to move and i wish i could but the only problem is...i don't have the fuckin' money to move my ass off this damn island.
if it's not that...i'm beginning to feel like no one seems to give a crap about me these days. in fact, i've come to the realization that i'm feeling like all my supposed, "friends" and "family" are only acting like they give a fuck about me when they really don't. i seriously don't know what to do about it. it gets me so pissed off that they don't seem to give a hoot about me. in fact, friends-wise, there are probably only three of my friends that i feel do give a rip about my ass. they are my friends, jason and yvonne (a.k.a. Angel), and yvonne's boyfriend bryce. though more so jason and yvonne than bryce, since i haven't known bryce all that long. i know for a fact that if i'm ever in need of a friend, at least, either jason or yvonne will be there for me, if not both of them. i know i can count on them. much love to you both yvonne and jas...i

Another Update...
Let's see, what shall I say for today...
SCHOOL: Ugh...I had an exam for my Math 100 class today. I hope I did well. I'm not sure how I did though. I hope better than last semester when I took that class. Last semester, I got a f***in' 20 (out of 100). That's was pretty sad. Hopefully I didn't bomb out that bad this time around. Oh well I'll find that out on Tuesday I guess.
Took a break after my ICS 272 class and went to the mall for lunch at around 12 noon or so, and ended up late for my ICS 214 class (with the same instructor). Oh my f***in' buddha!!! Ha Ha Ha!!! Damn crosswalk light didn't change fast enough. Damn Murphy's Law...I hate Murphy...I'm gonna kill him...GRRR!!!
So frustrating!!!WORK: Things over at Hallmark have been pretty good. We are getting ready for our October ornament debut, and I'm pretty sure things are going to be getting even more hectic. AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!
Other than that though, things are running fairly smoothly for the most part. So I guess I can't complain too much.

Hey All,
Man oh man, I've been so super duper busy. Since the beginning of July, I've been working part-time. I'm an auditor at Mark's Gold Crown Hallmark Store #37 in Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului. The job is pretty easy, though it's still tiring, and I'm only earning $6.75/hr. that's the only thing that sucks. My last paycheck that I got today was only $104.98, mind you, that's for two weeks. Damn that sucks...oh well.

Let's see...SCHOOL...School's goin' okay for the most part. I guess I can't complain too much.

Hey All,
I know, I know...all you folks are probably thinking to yourselves, "Finally Lauren's doing another xanga update." I know I really should be sleeping, but thought I'd do a short xanga update before I do. Well yeah, I've been super busy lately and things have been so hectic. I made the trip to Oahu to visit my dad for Father's Day yesterday, and was here since Friday night. However, I go back home to Maui today...*sigh* oh well, that's how it goes I guess. I have a 7:30 a.m. flight out, which means I have to be up by about 4 a.m. to be at the airport by 5:30 or 6 a.m., UGH
At least though I won't be spending it with my dad, having been born and raised here on the island of Oahu, Oahu will always be my true home, even though I now live on the island of Maui. At least I'm gonna get to come back home to Oahu in about 3 weeks with my church choir group. I'm pretty happy about that. To get to come home twice in a matter of a month, what a treat!!!
Well that's all for now I guess. I'm getting kinda sleepy and seriously need to get to bed, I'm only gonna get about 2 1/2 hours of sleep as it is. Good Night all.

I'm 25 & I love watching University of Hawaii Men's Volleyball. I know this might seem biased but my all-time favorite player is Mauli'a LaBarre. His jersey #used to be #16. To top it off, he used to be my high school crush & we actually dated for a while & though we've since broken up, we're still friends, so it's all good :-D I also love going to church, singing in choir, shopping, talking on the phone, going to the beach, & playing volleyball (when I can, I haven't played in a while though).
